My Desk - Part 1

My desk, Part 1.

Josh's Desk Video from Joshua Lococo on Vimeo.
The best desk in the world was given to me just by a neighbor. It was so cool just to find a desk that is so awesome just on the street. It is amazing!!!!!!

My way of looking at things

I have this play list on my blog, and unless it already started with this song go down to my play list and click "When I look at You" by Miley Cyrus. Now what your probably saying right now is "What the heck is a Miley Cyrus song doing on an adoption blog?" Well in answer to that when you hear the part of the song, "When the waves are flooding the shore and I can't find my way home anymore that's when I look at you," Now if you look at it my way instead of looking at it as when I'm lonely I look at my boyfriend (or girlfriend for guys.) I look at it as during this long process of adoption when something goes wrong and I get that feeling of loneliness and I feel like I'm scared that is when I look to God. That's when I look to him for answers. That is what I do any time I'm not sure what to do or say. So at any time when you feel lonely or scared look to God.

siblings part-3. here come the little siblings!

My first little sibling is gab.

She is constantly energetic and loves to draw. Her mind is always thinking of things like.... What is the next game I'm gonna make up? What can I do to keep moving? I couldn't love her more. Even though sometimes I say otherwise. Crazy, crazy gab.

siblings part-2

This on is one Lizzy.

This picture was taken one night when I found Addisu sitting on Lizzy's lap and thought is was just too cute. So back to Lizzy. She has inspired me to do everything I do. I like acting, singing, piano playing, all inspired by her. She is the best sister I could ask for. She listens to all of my problems and helps me. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!

siblings part 1

Over these next few posts I am going to talk about my siblings. This first one is about my brother Caleb.

He is the best big brother I could ever ask for. All though I occasionally fight like all siblings do he is so nice. I took this picture the first day I ever had my camera. He is a huge help around the house. Does dishes for mom, watches Addisu ( I will later do a post on him) and is like another dad while dad is working.

What Does Adoption seem like to a Kid?

What it seems like to me as a kid is piles and piles, piles, and more piles. Of paper, paper, and more paper. Legal stuff, people visiting my house, background checks to see if my parents aren't criminals, 20 ink cases worth of finger prints. Then doing it all again once my parents are home with the child.
Then spending 5 min. in a court room signing more papers. When it takes us like 5 months just to get the date. Then comes the easy part of enjoying my new sibling. That is what it seems like.

About me

My name is Josh.I am a nearly teen boy who's crazy about adopting. (I get it from my mom...) I have 2 older siblings and 2 younger. You can guess what that makes me.... in the middle. One huge fact about me you should know is that I try to make people laugh but mostly doesn't work. So while reading my blog you will probably hear some bad and I mean bad jokes. My two younger siblings are both adopted. My older younger sibling Gabriela is from Guatemala. My younger, younger sibling is Addisu. He is from Ethiopia. My family is currently adopting my third little sibling Jenny. She is from Eastern Europe. She is the cutest little angel.

I mean look at that face. Isn't she the cutest thing ever!!!!! Well that's what you should know about me.
